Playerunknown's battlegrounds: Review

Are you looking for a game that is both intense, challenging and extremely fun? Then stick around for our review of Playerunknown's battlegrounds!

Before we begin please let me make it clear that Playerunknown's battlegrounds is still in early access, and that everything currently in the game is subject to change.

PUBG or Playerunknown's battlegrounds is a battle royal inspired game developed/published by Bluehole along side with Brendan Greene also known as the Playerunknown. Even though Playerunknown's battlegrounds is still in early access, they have managed to create a groundbreaking online shooter. Every game starts the same way, but battlegrounds have managed to make every single game feel unique from the start.

Gameplay

The game starts off by about 100 players jumping from a plane on to the island of Erangel, from here the players objective is to scavenge for loot and kill other players. There is action right from the start of the game till it ends. To make sure that players don't camp out the whole match, players are forced to move to even smaller and more open areas as a deadly force field closes in.

How you choose to approach the game is up to you. You might prioritize getting to the center of the circle, move slowly on the border of the forcefield as it closes or camp out in a house until you are forced to move, the possibilities are endless!

To make sure the game ends at some point the forcefield will keep shrinking until players die outside the play zone or are killed by other players, the winning team or player will receive the following message: "winner winner chicken dinner", which has no meaning to it other than it sounds good.

Weapons:

Playerunknown's battlegrounds offer a wide variety of weapons to choose from, there are currently:
  • 20 main weapons
  • 4 pistols
  • 4 grenades
  • 4 melee weapons

I'm going to go over some of the weapons from different categories.

AKM is a powerful assault rifle that uses the 7.62 class of ammunition. This rifle does more damage than the 5.56 AR's but with a side effect of having much more recoil. It is best used in single shot mode unless you are breaching buildings with it, which it is not intended for.

Kar98k this is currently the only bolt-action sniper rifle that drops normally on maps and sometimes in air-drops. as the other sniper rifles only comes in air drops. Because of this, the Kar98k is usually a very good weapon for long-range engagements without having the risk of going to air drops for sniper rifles.

M249 is currently the only LMG in the game, it fires the 5.56 mm NATO cartridge ammo.
The M249 currently only comes in air drops, and it seems there's a good reason to this because with its 100 rounds magazine and high fire rate the M249 is a god tier weapon if used correctly.

UMP is currently 1 of 3 SMGs in the game, the UMP fires 9mm rounds and is the perfect weapon for close combat because of its high fire rate and plenty of attachments that go with it.

S1897 The S1897 excels in clearing houses with quick and easy use. Caution is to be taken as missing one shot can easily spell out your death due to the pump action. This shotgun is a firm reminder that in real life, shotguns tend to shoot farther than most people estimate them to. Do not be afraid to take shots at people at a decent range away.

Pan A cast-iron pan purpose built for cooking up hate for your enemies. In game the pan is capable of killing an unarmored opponent in two hits on the body or one hit to the head. The pan will also block bullets fired at players while equipped and while unequipped, allowing it to act as a small shield.

Graphics

Playerunknown's battlegrounds use the unreal engine 4 which generally makes the game look really good, it also makes the weather have a big impact in the game. If it rains the map will feel foggy and gloomy making it hard to hear and see other players, this forces you to change the way you play the game which in general makes the experience feel unique.

Pros/Cons

Pros
  • Fun
  • Large map
  • Lots of ways to approach the game
  • Balanced weapons system
Cons
  • Bugs lots of bugs
  • Crashes a lot
  • Requires a good computer to run
  • Jumping in the game might piss you off at some point.

Final comment

Oh man! I can't wait to see where Bluehole brings this game, it's so much fun to play and it's only in early access, it's going to be exciting to see what weapons they will bring into the game, or how the new map that was announced some time ago will play out. Over all, I was really satisfied with the Playerunknown's battlegrounds experience.

Black Ops 2 - Review

Hello guys, now we are back for another review, I'm so sorry for our latest inactive time we had some busy days. Today i will be looking at the game Black Ops II from the Call Of Duty series. In this review, i will be coming under the Multiplayer and Zombie i haven't gotten the time to play Singleplayer so i will skip that.

Gameplay

Activision and Treyarch really did a good job making this game, they focused alot on the Zombie and Multiplayer i don't know how good the singleplayer is cause i haven't tried it. The weapons are amazing good created i really love the way you aim and shoot on, i wasn't a big fan of the first Black Ops but this one gives me everything i need. The Zombie map Green Run is just marvelous, i love the bus that drives around if you don't reach it you are as good as dead. I never completed the map though, i always jumped of the bus to help another player if his in trouble behind. But when i get into the fog a little creature called  Denizen often appears and tries to kill me, which is probably the reason why i always end up losing.
Here you see a picture, the Bus Stop is where you spawn.
The bus drives all around the map.

The Multiplayers isn't my favorite style, cause you can go as a Spy which gives you the advantage to be an friendly on the enemy's radar. I got kinda pissed of when i suddenly get shot from behind by a enemy, but some may like it. The weapons are nice designed, and are balanced fairly.
Or else its just like all other Call Of Duty's.

Graphics

The Graphics are fairly amazing, they are going higher than my expectations. I really enjoy playing the game, i really feel like i'm surrounded by zombies. I also had the experience to play in 3D cause i had the tv and glasses that was needed, it was the funniest thing i tried probably, or wait no thats when i played Slender.

Ace Of Spades - Review

This time we will be having Ace Of Spades in for a review, i just bought this game this weekend and it turned out to be one of the most ridiculous games i ever played. Its only funny 'cause its like Minecraft and Team Fortress in one simple game, and i think the one who came up with the idea for this is a genius, but that doesn't change its ridiculoussness. It was first launched by a danish guy named Michael Kaerlev and a american whose name is Ben Aksoy. Last November JAGEX bought the rights and published it in December. But lets get started.

Gameplay

The gameplay is quite nice, but then again i think it was much better in the beta they had in their browser but some things are nice at the new. There are 4 classes in the game; Commando, Marksman, Rocketeer, Miner.
Commando has a Machine-gun or a Rocket-Launcher as first weapon, as second he has a little shitty pistol and a grenade or a Snow Blower as equipment.
Marksman has a sniper rifle and a pistol, and then he has mines as equipment.
Rocketeer is just ridiculous he has a Jet-pack, and a SMG. No matter if you build up a Trench or anything like a moat or the walls the Rocketeer can just fly directly over it and whoop your ass.
Miner is probably the coolest class, cause of his option to make tunnels for his team.
There is also 4 different game modes; Territory control, Capture the flag, Diamond mine, Zombie.
  • The point of Capture the flag is to take the enemy intel and bring it back to friendly Command Post. The team which captures the most amount of intels, wins.
  • The point of Territory control is like where you have 2 bases and then there is a neutral base, that you and the enemy have to fight for.
  • The point of Diamond mine are where you have to find a diamond and take it to the your base.
  • The point of Zombie you can choose to be a zombie or kill zombies. This is the most boring game modes of them all.
The game is a first person shooter of course, the gameplay is a bit good but i could of have been better.

Graphics

The Graphics are very ''pixel'' made, much alike Minecraft but a bit smoother.
It could get some improvements but all games can. But there isn't alot about the Graphics, other than if you haven't tried out Minecraft, then just imagine alot small squares and visual pixels.

Advantages/Disadvantages

Advantages
  • Great pastime
  • It can sometimes be funny to play with you friends

Disadvantages
  • Not quite finished game
  • Absolutely not worth its price
  • Many bugs, and there may be alot of crashes
  • The jet-pack is just ridiculous

Final comment

So overall this game is in my opinion at the category; Bad.
The only thing i like about this game is the miner, i think that the Rocketeer is way to OP.
So i don't recommend you guys to buy this game. Its expensive and it have more bugs than you can imagine.
