The gameplay in Just Cause 2 is really free, which is quite obvious as it is a open world game. The world that you can move around in, either by walking, in car, plane or boat is some asian collection of islands, where there is a dictator and tons of soldiers ready to kill everyone. Most people are poor, and the game could remind some of North Korea.

It is possible to have three weapons at a time, two pistols and a big gun, like a sniper, machine gun or a shotgun, i could be going on, but well you get it. Other than those three weapons you got a chain or rope with a grapping hook attached. You can shoot this grapping hook anywhere and Rico, which is the character, will fly to the place. Simple but a really fun thing that you can play with for hours.

If you get tired of playing around, then you can do missions where you help different rebel groups. Panau, that is the name of the country, and runned by a dictator in the same way as the western world see North Korea, as said earlier. Which by the way actually is the reason why Rico, who is character, came to Panau. Those missions could for example be about taking over a habor or hack the satellites.

Another cool feature in the game is the racing events. You can race all over Panau in any vehicle you could possible think of. If you finish a race, a mission or if you are just making chaos, you will be awarded with dollars that you can use on the Black Market on either vehicles, utilities or weapons.

You are also able to install mods, which can give you a whole other experience of the game. It could be new vehicles, weapons, new missions, Black Market hacks, etc. etc.

Graphics

Once again, i've been lucky to find a game with amazing graphics. There is some beautiful details, which makes it realistic and personally i feel like i'm a part of the game. This applies in the mountains with snow but also on the sunny beaches. There is about 250 unique vehicles, all of them filled with detalis and are close to the real cars, which i really appreciate.

I would like to end the review by saying that Just Cause 2 is a beautiful and a complete game, that really deserve more attention than it got. The graphics are amazing and the same applies for the gameplay.

With a price on 15€ you get really much quality compared to what you have to let go. The only thing i feel that is missing is a multiplayer function, but i know that there are Just Cause fans working really hard on this.

I will be buying Just Cause 3 as soon as possible, and I recommend you to also do so!
