Hitman Absolution - Review
23.00.00Peter here and I am back with my second review here on the blog - this time with a review of the "not-so-newly" published game, Hitman Absolution. Now before we start, i must say that i played this game on a PC, which means the Graphics can of course be a tad better, and also the gameplay will be a lot different from the console versions of the game.
Gameplay
Hitman Absolution, of course has a lot to live up to. Its franchise is one of the best-selling franchises ever created, with exceptions of Call of Duty and Grand theft Auto.
Of course you start off as Agent 47, but this time your on a mission, to kill Diana, because the Agency told you to. You decide not to kill her, and let her go - and now the agency is hunting you down, and while you are trying to get away, now with Dianas daughter, you have a lot of possibilities, including sneaking through buildings, or just shooting your way through the levels. The choice is up to you, which leads to a whole lot of different ways of playing the game, and that is also something which you can easily see on forexample YouTube, where people have been doing gameplay videos, and nobody ever does it just the same way.
Also there is a multiplayer mode in Hitman Absolution called "Contracts mode", which allows you to create your own small missions based on the missions in the game. Those could be forexample to kill every person in the level, only with your gun - or only getting headshots. This means you will never complete the game fully, which is amazing.
Also the AI is now improved a lot, which leads to a lot more realistic enviroment, giving you the feeling of really having to fight your way through the levels, and really feeling chased.

Sounds and Graphics
Hitman Absolution on the PC-platform has stunning graphics, especially on heavy machines like mine, running on the most powerful graphics leads to this realistic feeling i was talking about before.
Now the sounds are great, but i definitely think they could be better. By that I mean that the quality of the sounds are real and awesome, but the variety is not that great, and should be different.

Advantages/Disadvantages
Advantages
- The story-line is amazingly done
- You have the choice of the game
- The graphics are great
- The contracts-mode is fun
Disadvantages
- Sound is not that varied in Hitman Absolution
- Not much else really!
Final comment
All in all, this is an absolutely beast of a game, and if you have the money, and you have the machine to handle it - i suggest you go buy it right now.
Also i am now a part of the team here at theKingan, which means you will be seeing a lot more from me!
