Ultra-thin Sense Mousepad now available in Meteor Blue

The critically-acclaimed Sense mousepad, which entered the market in 2008, has been reissued by ROCCAT, and is now available in a slick Meteor Blue design. The extremely thin textile pad, 2 mm thick, provides precise cursor control – allowing for absolute accuracy. Blue Yeti - Review

We got contacted by Peter, and he offered to write a guest post, as he would like to write a review of the Blue Yeti. So here we go Peter; the floor is yours!

Blue Microphones, came out with a brand new product by the name of Blue Yeti. It was supposed to rule the previous Blue Snowball, but did it live up to the old microphones name?

So in the holidays of 2012, I decided to take a big step. I wanted to make YouTube videos, and have more quality in my Skype calls and so on. So i went to Amazon, and quickly found out that the Blue Yeti was my bet. Ordered it, and about a week later from the mail I received my microphone which I quickly found out was a good buy.  Although I am a guy who likes to travel a lot, and make content on the go, It seemed like I got a bang for the buck, and the quality of the microphone was absolutely stunning. No background noise, but my laptop. That is of course my own fault, as a laptop is not the ideal thing for recording purposes.


The quality of the product is also amazing, it is pure metal and is having a good stable base which holds the microphone in place. The base of the microphone can be taken of and, therefore you can put the Blue yeti almost everywhere. It can be mounted in a shock mount if that is what you want. Pop-filters are also easily mounted, and makes the quality even better.
The microphone is connected using a USB cable, which is included while buying the blue yeti. You are able to plug a headset directly into the microphone to actually be able to hear yourself with a short delay. The different buttons on the microphone are also pretty cool. Allowing you to change mode, and adjust the volume of the microphone. I use the mode cardoid to be able to only record from the front of the microphone which is where I am talking in. Vocal artists could eventually use another mode for better quality. Volume can also be adjusted inside Windows.

Final comment

My final conclusion must be, that this product is amazing and gets you something for the price. If you are looking for a long time usable product, then the Blue yeti is something for you.
